The space economy was worth $630 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach $1.8 trillion by 2035, growing nearly twice as fast as global GDP (World Economic Forum and McKinsey).
Most of that is satellites and the services on top of them. That layer matters because it funds the cost curve that makes everything further out possible. Further out is where I'm looking.
The US and China are racing for the same high ground, both moving capital through private companies rather than slow state programs. The near-term prize is the Moon's South Pole, the staging point for everything beyond.
My focus is deep space exploration, resource utilisation beyond Earth from the Moon to the asteroids, and the companies building the economy around it. Extract resources where they're found, build permanent bases, then push outward without depending on Earth. Every kilogram sourced off-Earth compounds into the next.
For India, this is a pipe dream today. Other nations, especially the US, are far ahead in the race to space. But far behind is not never, and the bet worth taking isn't on India itself. It's on Indian talent, which still goes unsupported at home.
That's why Indians have built 126 unicorns abroad against 61 at home (Hurun Global Unicorn Index 2026). Indian VC is barely two decades old, space younger still. Early is where the thesis forms, the bet gets made, and the win happens.
The long arc is a civilisation that harnesses its star. The first step is a refinery on the Moon. Hence the focus on space-tech startups and companies.
I've sourced and written investor-grade IMs matching the standard of top deep-tech VC firms. Here are a few from space-tech.
Intern, riidl Pre-Incubation Program (Feb 2026 - April 2026)
- Sourced and evaluated early-stage startups, reviewing pitch decks for problem-solution fit and market potential.
- Joined founder conversations from outreach through selection and managed deal flow in Airtable.
- Supported onboarding, legal structuring, and founder work on prototypes, business models, and access to mentorship and grants.
Entrepreneurship (June 2020 - Dec 2025)
- Co-founded TheCluster (2020 to 2022), managing 100+ freelancers and a full management team while owning sales, finance, and hiring.
- Served as Creative Director at Velston Clothing (2021 to 2022), leading design output and building partnerships with brands, manufacturers, and influencers.
- Founded and ran a US-incorporated solo business (2022 to 2024) monetizing writing and digital products across Medium and Twitter, handling entity setup, distribution, and revenue end to end before winding down to pursue a larger wedge.
- Founded Konrad Labs (2024 to 2025), turning that distribution into an education startup; mis-sequenced branding, legal, and fundraising ahead of product clarity and left with sharper instincts on validation, capital efficiency, and signal versus noise pre-PMF.
- Founded Seneca (2025), an on-campus autonomous delivery startup; validated demand across 100+ interviews, shipped a mobile-first MVP, and hired across multiple campuses before stepping away to back builders rather than be one.
Technical Writing (March 2022 - Nov 2024)
- Grew a Medium presence from scratch to #1 global writer in Software Engineering, Software Development, and JavaScript, earning $9,000+ in three months mostly from one article, and joined freeCodeCamp as one of its youngest technical writers.
Freelance, Web Development & UI/UX Design (July 2020 - Dec 2023)
- Delivered 10+ high-ticket UI/UX and front-end projects across three freelance studios (Senior Studios, D3luxe, Mixelate), working with clients in the US, UK, Sweden, and the gaming industry.
